Grand Designs 2008
See us again at Grand Designs NEC Birmingham 10th, 11th and 12th October. Mainpride will yet again be at the Grand Designs exhibition 2008. We have been involved from the start in 2006 and then again in 2007. The show is a fantastic place to see traditional and modern build concepts, we will be working in partnership with Velux on stand B157 opposite the Velux exhibition - call now for more information.
Grand Designs 2007
Mainpride Lofts exhibited for the 2nd year at Grand Designs Live in October 2007. We had three great days at the NEC and would like to thank the many people that visited us on the stand.
Better Homes
Mainpride Lofts were recommended by Birmingham City Council to the production team of ITV's Better Home featuring Carol Vorderman. On the TV show, we worked against the clock to transform a Smethwick home of Clare Budden and Steven Mills. The team set to work to create one big play room in the attic space for the children, which increased the value of their home by £14,000 and as delighted Clare said: "Mainpride did an excellent job. It really is lovely."
Easier homes extensions
will benefit householders and builders, says FMB
Householders wanting to extend and improve their homes will benefit from changes to the planning system which come into force on 1 October, say the FMB.

FMB Forces Government U-Turn
I’m pleased to report that as a direct result of the FMB’s ‘Save Our Lofts Campaign’ the Government has accepted the FMB’s arguments not to make it harder for householders wanting a loft conversion.
